Today we spent some time reading with Mr. Arsenault’s Grade 4 class.  The students in 5/6Z were reading French non-fiction books to their book club partners to show the the proper pronunciation of certain words as well as introduce how to use different reading strategies.  There were also questions related to the book they were reading that they were to respond to together.

In math time the students worked independently on math evaluation worksheets.  This will help me see where some of the math challenges are in this class, as well as what needs to be focussed on in future teaching.

We also had our spelling tests today, and then went to the library to work with Mme Macdonald.
